Sometimes A Song Is Just Enough

Justin Baker • October 8, 2022

I love preaching but I also love good Godly music. Music should never take the place of preaching. I would like to remind you of a reminder that was given to me through song.

God knows what we need exactly when we need it. Thursday I was listening to a Bible college group sing a song and it was a blessing to my heart. As they sang the song it reminded me of some things about our Savior and may it be a help to you this morning

Remember number one God doesn't change

Hebrews 13:8 KJV

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

Malachi 3:6 KJV

For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

Secondly, His Word is forever settled

Psalm 119:89 KJV

For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.

Psalm 12:6-7 KJV

The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. [7] Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.

Thirdly, he will never leave us nor forsake us

Hebrews 13:5 KJV

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

Remember this when you go through hard times or just need a reminder

Hope this is a blessing to you as it was to me through song
