Genesis 30:27 KJV
And Laban said unto him, I pray thee, if I have found favour in thine eyes, tarry: for I have learned by experience that the LORD hath blessed me for thy sake.

Laban, the father-in-law of Jacob, was blessed because of Jacob.

Jacob not only worked for seven years for Rachel and ended up getting Leah but worked another seven years for Rachel and those years didn't seem long to him because if the love which he had for her.

God has blessed Laban with a man who did not get bitter when things turned out differently at the beginning

God blessed Laban with grandchildren by Jacob and Labans daughters and their maids.

When Jacob leaves the blessings that have been given Laban leaves as well. His workforce, his family, and even his finances may have gone down.

Jacob was a blessing to Laban. I wonder if you were to leave your work today would they have to say that they have been blessed because of you?

Would they say, because you were at workplace they were blessed or would that have to say, I wish I could say they were a blessing?

Church member, can your church say they are blessed because of you? Or would they have to say, we never see them do anything for God or for the people of God?

Sunday school member, is your class blessed because of you? Bus worker, is your bus blessed because of you?

In any area of life this is a great question to think about. I want others to say they have been blessed because of me.

I want to encourage you to text, call or email (even do all three) and tell someone how God has blessed you because of them.

Maybe, it was the person that led you to the Lord, or someone that handed you money when you least expected it.

We are blessed because of others, may others be blessed because of us.

I challenge you to live in such a way where others will be blessed because of you.
