Psalm 100:1-5 KJV
Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. [2] Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing. [3] Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. [4] Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. [5] For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

Read verse 4 again.

We find where it states, "Enter into his gates with thanksgiving...."

I want to encourage you to give thanks in the prayer closet.

Often times we are always busy telling about our needs and and our wants that we forget to be thankful for the blessings.

What would it be like if Gods people would spend a few minutes each day to thank God for all he has done?

See, if we are always talking about all the things we need God to take care of or provide and we never thank Him for it then we must need to learn to be thankful.

The saddest thing about the last days other than people not wanting the truth is that people are so unthankful.

Would you spend some time this week and thank God? Would you take some time in the prayer closet just lifting up the Lord and all the things he has done?

I challenge you to thank God in the prayer closet this week.

Starting today till the end of November I will be doing a devotional on thanks giving.
