Two Days That Are Important
Today's Fire-starter thought comes from an encouraging part of the service last night. I pray it will bless you as it did me
We have a day that we were born and we have a day that we will die, if the Lord tarries his coming. I say with John even so come quickly. I am ready to meet the Lord face to face whom I met through eyes of faith on April 9, 2003. One day these eyes of faith will turn into eyes of sight physically.
With that being said we have a death date. For some it may be today for some tomorrow and maybe even next year but there is a time appointed.
From here and home there are two very important days
TODAY AND THE DAY WE STAND BEFORE THE LORD.
We cannot change yesterday and we sure can't change today tomorrow.
Everything that we do we, as Christians, will be held accountable for on the day of judgment.
Why should we consider these two important days.
1. We get today and we will never get this day back
2. We must strive for gold, silver, and precious stones in that day in stead of wood, hay, and stubble.
Gold, silver, and precious stones are the things we did for Christ
Wood, hay, and stubble are what we did for ourselves
May God help us live today and for the day of judgment.
