Some Things Don't Seem As If They Appear.

What I saw at a certain restaurant I go to that reminded me of a simple truth.

I was at a certain restaurant the other day. As I travel, this restaurant is halfway home in most instances, so I stop for coffee or a meal, and the other day, I read in their advertisement that they were Hiring and I asked the waiter if they got $18 an hour. He said, "I wish we only make $3 an hour. I was surprised to see an advertisement that was really not telling the truth. This got me thinking how many times we live differently than what we advertise to be.

See, there are a lot of Christians that advertise that they are saved, yet their lifestyle is different. The advertisement was a way to get people to want to worn their but when they got involved, they realized it was totally different.

How many of us advertise how good our church is and then turn our words around and bring a bad name to the church? How many of us advertise our preacher as being a man of God but then put them down in front of everyone.

Let's be a great advertisement for our Savior and to others this week.
