If It Wasn't For The Cross

Good morning, our Fire-starter thought is: if it wasn't for the cross

I am preaching the start of a revival meeting here in Williston and the choir sang a song with this title.

If it wasn't for the cross, you and I would be on our way to Hell.

If it wasn't for the cross there would have been no sacrifice for sin.

If it wasn't for the cross we would have no hope.

But I am glad Jesus came and died on the old rugged cross for your sin and mine.

Two things this morning, as a Christian we must be thankful for the cross but friend if you are not saved I encourage you look to Jesus and see the cross, and the tomb.

Without the cross there would be no tomb and without the tomb there would be no Resurrection and without no Resurrection there would be no hope.

I hope today you will think about the cross and be reminded of what Christ has done for you. Hope you have a wonderful day.
