We often hear people say let your light shine and be salty today. How true is both statements. God has called us to be salt and to be a light in this dark world.

I am reminded of Joseph when I consider these two things because of what Potipher said about Joseph.

Notice what Genesis 39:3 states

Genesis 39:3 KJV
And his master saw that the LORD was with him, and that the LORD made all that he did to prosper in his hand.

Its amazing that everywhere Joseph went people could see the Lord was with Joseph.

Notice how his brothers did not see that the Lord was with Joseph but those in Egypt.

The world needs to see that Jesus is with us.

Notice Joseph's attitude in it all. He had the heart of a servant which is a picture of our Savior. Phil. 2 states that Jesus took upon himself the form of a servant.

More like the master would I be the songwriter penned and how true is that.

When Peter and John stood before the Sanhedrin they took knowledge of them that they had been with Jesus.

The master over Joseph seen that the Lord was with Joseph.

I wonder, does your work, home, church, favorite store you stop at see Jesus in you? That the Lord is with you.

Think about it today and meditate on this.
