This mornings Fire-starter thought is: who knew we would be using math? 

All through school math was not my subject. I didn't like it and I believed it didn't like me according to my grades when it came to math. There was one math I did enjoy and it was easy and I passed with flying colors but the rest of them I barely passed. 

Remember in school in math class saying, we probably will never need to know this? Guess what you needed to know certain things to get through life and Adding and Subtracting is one of them. 

We all have people in our lives. Some are good to have and others are bad to have. 

We need to ADD to the ones that are encouraging and subtract from those that discourage. 

What do I mean by this? 

Often we seem to add more and more to our trouble list, if you will, than to our encouraging list. 

The reason we have people in our lives with bitterness and anger and resentment is because that's the only people we add to our list are those kinds of people. Let me say who you attract is how you can tell how you are. Bitter people add bitter people to their lives. Angry people add angry people to their lives. 

People that are right with God add the children of God to their people they hang around. 

By the way, we do live in the world but we do not have to be apart of the world. 

Is it time to subtract or add people in your life. 

Add people to your list that can encourage you and you can also encourage. Subtract those that are always bitter or angry. 

Yes you can try to be an encouragement to them but sometimes if you are not careful allowing those in your life could do more harm than good.
