This past Tuesday through Friday I spent some time in Myrtle Beach, SC. No, I did not go down to the ocean. I am not a big fan of that.

I went to preach on Wednesday evening and stayed a few days to enjoy some time in my Bible and rest a little.

The Lord has given a song that I am in the process of finishing and hopefully will be one of the Hymn meditations soon.

What caused me to write this song was I was thinking on my adoption and it may just be my flesh but I was asking the Lord why was I adopted and why did I have to go through all I went through.

I know I wrote a book on my adoption and you can find that book on Amazon or the website it is called Scars into Sermons.

When I was thinking on all this the Lord reminded me of all the things I received when I was adopted.

Boy, my tune went from WHY to WOW!

I would like to share with you all the things i got when I got adopted by my Heavenly Father.

1. My past was erased

I understand that youth often do nothing to be placed into the foster system and eventually get adopted. It is often due to the parents sins.

Let me remind you that before you got born again your father was the Devil.

You say, i was a church goer or I wasn't like anybody that's in jail or doing drugs.

Let me remind you that the Devil can transpose himself into an angel of light. He can be a fake! And if he can be a fake then his children can as well.

When I got born again, my past was erased. Everything I had done was completely gone! Halelujah!

2. I had a name change

I no longer bear a name that brings shame and reproach I bear a name of royalty

3. I received an eternal home.

The Bible states in John 14 that he has gone to prepare a place for those who are saved. Those who he has adopted.

When I got adopted physically I gained another name, another home. I would say I experienced real love.

The Devil doesn't love you. He wants to see you in the Lake of Fire with him.

God loved you enough to send his only begotten Son so that you could be adopted. He signed the papers on Calvary. All you have to do is accept what he has done for you.

All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

Friend, if you have not been adopted look at all you're missing.

If the Lord is drawing you unto himself do not turn him away, accept him today.
