There's Always Someone Who Cares Enough To Take Time To Help!
Abraham cared enough for Lot that he went to get Lot. There are people who care when others are living in sin.

Notice Genesis 14:14-16 KJV
And when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed his trained servants, born in his own house, three hundred and eighteen, and pursued them unto Dan.
And he divided himself against them, he and his servants, by night, and smote them, and pursued them unto Hobah, which is on the left hand of Damascus.
And he brought back all the goods, and also brought again his brother Lot, and his goods, and the women also, and the people. .
As we have seen, Lot has been taken captive, and one has come to tell Abraham about the situation.
We can learn a valuable lesson from the life of Abraham here, and the lesson is we don't throw away the baby with the bathwater. We don't kick someone aside who has gone astray.
There are those who would take one look at a murderer, thief, child molester, spouse abuser, and other people that have done some terrible things and we would automatically write them off for what they have done.
Abraham understood one thing, and that was as one put it he could be around the world and not be contaminated by the world.
Abraham is a picture of the New Testament passage in Galatians 6. Notice the passage
Galatians 6:1 KJV
Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
The problem is that there are not many spiritual people in this day and hour. Oh, we act spiritual in church when we dress up for church, when we give, when we sing, but singing, giving, and dressing doesn't make you spiritual. In fact, you can become carnal in your singing, giving, and dressing.
What if someone falls spiritually and needs help getting back up? Sadly, Lot's family wasn't there to help him. Nobody decided they were going to stand for Lot. Abraham was the spiritual leader of the family.
Do you know what's sad in America today? The spiritual wellbeing in our churches. We have very little spirituality and a whole lot of carnality.
Yes, we must deal with sin, but we must not sin while doing it. That's the hard part.
Many times, we get contaminated by the world trying to reach the world by compromise.
Abraham didn't compromise his stand on sin while trying to get Lot back. You do not have to sin to reach the sinner. You and I can live a life pleasing to the Savior by living a holy and separated life. This will result in the world wanting what we have.
God has called us to be salt and light in the world. Are we doing what we are called to be doing?
Separation is key in this day and hour if we are going to do great things for God.
You may say, I don't want to offend them, or I love them too much to tell them the truth.
Friend, you show that you do not love or care for them if you do not tell them the truth.
The life that Lot lived was not pleasing to God, and Abraham didn't condone the sin or condemn the sinner. he just went out to get him back.
One of the greatest verses in the Bible is overlooked sometimes in giving the gospel and that in John 3:17. We quote and probably have memorized verse 16, but verse 17 is worth memorizing.
Notice what it says.
John 3:17 KJV
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
The Lord Jesus is one who doesn't condemn but is ready to save. The Bible states in Luke 19:10 and also Matthew 18:11 that Jesus came to seek and to save the lost.
Notice John 8
John 8:11 KJV
She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
Jesus helped her without being contaminated by her sin.
Abraham helped Lot but didn't get contaminated by his sin.
We need to be in the world but not a part of the world.
