There Is Always Someone That Has Something To Say
Today we will be in Job 11 and we will be dealing with something that I am sure all of us have been in. We are living in a day and age where someone has something to say about everything.
Our Fire-starter can be found in Job 11. Our Fire-starter thought is there is always someone that has something to say.
We know people who are like this on a daily basis. If they do not get the attention they need or if they can't be apart of the conversation or have priority then they are out. I'm not saying this is how Zophar the Naamanthite was but we find he has now stated his sayings and we find his accusations just like the other friends have said, Job there must be sin in your life.
By the way, just because someone is going through a hard time doesn't mean there is sin in their life. There are many different reasons to why God puts things in our life or others lives for that matter.
We all know people that like to be in on everything. They know how to answer everything. They know when you have sinned and when you have hurt the heart of God. Can I say this morning there is not a man on earth that is so spiritual that he can see the heart of another human.
Whether you say, I know why this person is going through this or going through that. Hoss, you have no idea!!!!!!
Quit acting like God and saying you know why they are going through things.
People have been discouraged because they listen to friends like this that ain't worth nothing for advice and you wonder why they quit or why they have done this or that. They were tired of meeting your suggestions!!!
Let God be the one to let them know why they are going through something. Don't be in the place of God. If you are the mister know it all you know nothing. You don't even know your own heart much less someone else's. You say, I don't like that. Guess what, it's true whether you like it or not. If you want a feel good devotional check with Joel Osteen he probably has one you can read and probably even listen to while you are eating popcorn
Don't make assumptions till you get the facts!!!!
Job 11:1-20 KJV
Then answered Zophar the Naamathite, and said, [2] Should not the multitude of words be answered? and should a man full of talk be justified? [3] Should thy lies make men hold their peace? and when thou mockest, shall no man make thee ashamed? [4] For thou hast said, My doctrine is pure, and I am clean in thine eyes. [5] But oh that God would speak, and open his lips against thee; [6] And that he would shew thee the secrets of wisdom, that they are double to that which is! Know therefore that God exacteth of thee less than thine iniquity deserveth. [7] Canst thou by searching find out God? canst thou find out the Almighty unto perfection? [8] It is as high as heaven; what canst thou do? deeper than hell; what canst thou know? [9] The measure thereof is longer than the earth, and broader than the sea. [10] If he cut off, and shut up, or gather together, then who can hinder him? [11] For he knoweth vain men: he seeth wickedness also; will he not then consider it ? [12] For vain man would be wise, though man be born like a wild ass's colt. [13] If thou prepare thine heart, and stretch out thine hands toward him; [14] If iniquity be in thine hand, put it far away, and let not wickedness dwell in thy tabernacles. [15] For then shalt thou lift up thy face without spot; yea, thou shalt be stedfast, and shalt not fear: [16] Because thou shalt forget thy misery, and remember it as waters that pass away: [17] And thine age shall be clearer than the noonday; thou shalt shine forth, thou shalt be as the morning. [18] And thou shalt be secure, because there is hope; yea, thou shalt dig about thee, and thou shalt take thy rest in safety. [19] Also thou shalt lie down, and none shall make thee afraid; yea, many shall make suit unto thee. [20] But the eyes of the wicked shall fail, and they shall not escape, and their hope shall be as the giving up of the ghost.
