In Genesis 2, you read where God rested from all his labor. He has created everything in six days, then on the seventh day he rested. Later on in scripture, you will read how the Israelites were to remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy.

God put man in the garden to dress it and to keep it. God has put us here on earth for a purpose, and that is to serve him.

While we are here on earth, we must realize our purpose

Let me share with you several thoughts on the purpose of our lives.

1. Gods will is for everyone to be saved 2 Peter 2:9; Romans 10:13
2. Gods will is for those that are saved to live with a purpose to give the gospel to the Lost Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 1:8
3. Gods will is for us to purpose to walk with him daily. Psalm 119:11;130

In the book of Daniel chapter one, it said that Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the kings meat

May we live our purpose today and purpose to live for God. You have a reason why you are on this earth. Let's all fulfill our purpose today.
