The Bow Is For God And Us! Hallelujah!
God put the bow in the sky for a covenant between mankind and himself.
Genesis 9:11-17 KJV
And I will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth. [12] And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: [13] I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. [14] And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud: [15] And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh. [16] And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth. [17] And God said unto Noah, This is the token of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth.
The LGBTQ crowd loves to claim the bow for their own, but it's not! The Word of God plainly teaches that the bow in the sky was a covenant from God to us that he would never destroy the earth again.
Every time you look at a rainbow, we think of Gods mercy and grace to this earth and the people on earth.
The Bible states in Lamentations 3:22 that it's of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed.
The flood happened because of the wickedness of man. Judgment must come, and it did. One day, we will see God bring one final judgment to this earth, and that will be destroying it with fervent heat according to 2 Peter 3.
There is a crowd which thinks that God needs to be a loving God. He is, but he is also a just God. That is who he is. God cannot do something that is not of him to do.
Gods love, mercy and grace is shown through the rainbow. Next time you look at a rainbow consider how merciful, gracious, and loving he is. He could have destroyed us but no! Every time it rains and the bow is seen in the sky we can truly thank God for his mercy.
