Putting First where First belongs is the title of our Fire-starter. you can read the Fire-starter scripture in Nehemiah 10 

When we were in school one of the things we were taught is that number one is number 1. We learned that if you come in first place then you have beat everyone else. On this day in which we are living, everyone has to get a trophy for participating, although you didn't win. Those that came in first place were faster, maybe stronger and even more talented but one thing is for sure they gave it all they had. 

A basketball player doesn't get good by putting the ball on the shelf. No, he gets good by putting first practice in. In the NBA they have put first what they want to put first. 

you hear me and hear me well, if anything becomes number one, above God, in your life God will cut it down because he will be number one. So many put money first and guess what? They end up losing the money because they became more about money. Some have put their job first and Christ has broken them of their job because they didn't give him the first. 

Now I understand the text is speaking of firstfruits but I want to make this statement that I believe you will agree with me on and that is this 

"If Christ is not first in your life, he will not get the firstfruits out of your life."- Bro Justin Baker 

You say brother, why is it that Christ needs to be first in my life? Because if he is not first then you will not see the importance of the first given to him. 

The little lad didn't give leftovers to the Savior but Christ made leftovers out of them. 

First thing is first, Have you made Christ first in your life? Do you talk to him about things before making a decision? Do you talk to him about things going on in your life? Is he your First? Secondly, Are you giving your First to him? 

Are you giving your first of your tithe? Are you giving him first of your time? Are you making available first your talent to be used for him? The money you have left over after you tithe do you give that to the Lord? 

You say brother Justin i don't understand. See if we give God first of everything then he can do so much more than what we would ever do with it. 

Put First where it belongs this morning!!!!! not below number ten or twenty but first!!!

"Before one is zero because before Christ there should be ZERO if he is number one!!!"

[34] And we cast the lots among the priests, the Levites, and the people, for the wood offering, to bring it into the house of our God, after the houses of our fathers, at times appointed year by year, to burn upon the altar of the LORD our God, as it is written in the law: [35] And to bring the firstfruits of our ground, and the firstfruits of all fruit of all trees, year by year, unto the house of the LORD: [36] Also the firstborn of our sons, and of our cattle, as it is written in the law, and the firstlings of our herds and of our flocks, to bring to the house of our God, unto the priests that minister in the house of our God: [37] And that we should bring the firstfruits of our dough, and our offerings, and the fruit of all manner of trees, of wine and of oil, unto the priests, to the chambers of the house of our God; and the tithes of our ground unto the Levites, that the same Levites might have the tithes in all the cities of our tillage. [38] And the priest the son of Aaron shall be with the Levites, when the Levites take tithes: and the Levites shall bring up the tithe of the tithes unto the house of our God, to the chambers, into the treasure house. [39] For the children of Israel and the children of Levi shall bring the offering of the corn, of the new wine, and the oil, unto the chambers, where are the vessels of the sanctuary, and the priests that minister, and the porters, and the singers: and we will not forsake the house of our God
