"A professional ministry is a heartless ministry. When Salary plays a great part in the ministry, the heart plays little part."

There are pastors, evangelist, missionaries that live this way. I am not saying all do but there is alot that do.

Before yall go down the bandwagon stating that we need money to survive and support our family I totally get that but that's not why God called you to ministry. If you went into ministry thinking of it as a job instead of a calling then you need to find a public job somewhere and get out of ministry.

Baseball, basketball, football is a professional sport but the ministry should not be treated as such.

"God will provide for your needs not your greeds."

Just because you can't go out to eat everyday doesn't mean God is not providing for you. You may have food in the pantry going to waste because your complaining if not having enough money to go play golf, or sit around and chat with friends all the time.

God give us people with a heart for ministry not make ministry a profession.

Money will savage a ministry as much or even greater than what money can help a ministry.

I'm no professional, I don't want to be I just want to be named like Peter and John. Where they said that they had been with Jesus!!!!

Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marveled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.

Some have been with heartless, uncompassionate singers and preachers but may I remind you it's better to have it said you had been with Jesus!!!
