May we be thankful today. There are a couple of points I want to make today. 

1. Praise him while you are alive

Psalm 6:5 KJV

For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?

We all get one life and this life will be gone one day. We must be thankful while we have breath in our bodies.

Why should we consider this? Simply because others need to hear of the goodness of God in our life. If we are all the time being bitter instead of being better or if we are not thankful but we act like we are it will show. Why would the world want what we have if we live differently than we talk?

2. Praise him while others are alive 

We all get one life and if they die and go to Hell because of your ingratitude that would be a shame 

3. Praise him when you do not feel like it and when you feel like it 

We have days where we don't feel like doing anything but we must praise him 

May we praise him daily. 2 Timothy 3 tells us that in the last days people would be unthankful.
