One of the greatest verses in the Bible is Matthew 28:6 notice what it says.

Matthew 28:6 KJV
He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

They came to the tomb looking for a dead Savior instead they found, the stone rolled away, the tomb emptied and was given a message to give the rest of the disciples.

I am reminded this morning of the greatness of our Savior. He did not stay dead he arose victoriously.

Had Christ stayed dead he would have been like any other god but he was the God of Heaven and was triumphant over the grave.

Today, if you were to go to Jerusalem you would have to say as the angels did he is not here: for he is risen!

Jesus has ascended to the Father to intercede on our behalf. What a Savior. He is coming back one day and we must share the gospel with all those that we can.
