God Places Us In Situations To Help Others.
Joseph being placed in prison helped someone else in their dream. We may not see our dream come to pass but we may help someone elses dream be fulfilled.
Genesis 40
Bloom where you are planted is a phrase i have heard so often. It is a great reminder of a great truth.
Joseph's dream did not include the pit, Potipher's house, or prison but God was with Joseph and Joseph bloomed where he was planted.
Every place you and i go we must be willing to do the work God has given us to do.
Even in prison God had a work for Joseph. Over in Acts 16 Paul and Silas were thrown in prison and God had a work for them. If it wasn't for Paul and Silas the prison guard could have taken his life.
God has a work for everyone to do wherever they are. You say, you do not understand the tough situation i am in. You are right, I do not know what you are going through but I can say, bloom where you are planted.
I'm in the hospital, bloom where you are planted.
I am at the doctors all the time, bloom where you are planted.
Someone may need you to put your dreams on pause to help fulfill their dreams.
Just last week I talked to a man who is not saved. I am praying that God will save him. I needed to be somewhere else but I was there where he was. I wanted to bloom where I was planted.
God help us to be like Daniel, Nehemiah, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–nego, Esther, and Gideon. I could give many more examples of those who just bloomed while they were planted.
Joseph's dreams were placed on pause to help someone elses dream take flight.
May we bloom where we are planted.
