Fire-starter challenge #37
I was in a meeting this past Friday night, and the pastor of the church asked the church a question. The question was, are you 100% satisfied with where you are at spiritually?
My prayer is that today's fire-starter challenge and thought will be an encouragement to you.
We are living in a day and hour where the born-again believers have become content with where they are at.
The problem with this generation is that we have become so content that we do not care whether or not we are right as long as we are saved.
Can I ask you this morning if you are content spiritually? Are you willing to do more for Christ, or are you content with where you are? If you were to meet God today, would you be content with your life and what you have done?
The reason we will not have revival as born-again believers is because we have become content with our lives. Young preachers have become content with sitting on the pew, pastors have become content with just preaching, and evangelists have become content with a booked schedule. When will we be disturbed at our lives? Do we truly want to see others come to know Christ? Why are we content sitting on a church pew? Do we want to get more out of the Word of God? Why do we keep letting dust fall on it? Why do we not open it except for Sunday and Wednesday nights? We are in a spiritual drought and famine, and if we continue here, the next generation will be worse off than we could ever imagine being.
Friend, the Fire-starter challenge is to not be satisfied but rather want to see revival in your own personal life.
