Our Fire-starter thought is final and fear

From Job 25. 

Job 25:2 states it best. Dominion and fear are with him, he maketh peace in his high places.

Dominion= Supreme authority 

Fear= reverence 



The problem we have as Christians is we do not recognize the first word of that verse therefore we do not fear him. 

Jesus Christ is the Supreme authority he needs no other to take his place. We like to make our friends, our pastor, our Sunday school teacher our Supreme authority but Christ is the Supreme authority. 

Christ is the head of the Christian. He is the Supreme authority. If he tells you to go you must go if he says you will go through things you will go through things. Why? Because he knows what's best. 

Before doing something check with Christ because if you do something without his guidance you will mess things up. I've been there and done that and it is not fun. 

Do you rely on man to tell you where to go what to do and how to do things when it comes to God's work? Maybe you need to try going to the one that called you first. 

We do not fear him simply because we do not see him as Supreme authority. 

May we recognize who he is this morning. 

Job 25:1-6 KJV

Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said, [2] Dominion and fear are with him, he maketh peace in his high places. [3] Is there any number of his armies? and upon whom doth not his light arise? [4] How then can man be justified with God? or how can he be clean that is born of a woman? [5] Behold even to the moon, and it shineth not; yea, the stars are not pure in his sight. [6] How much less man, that is a worm? and the son of man, which is a worm?
