We are the land of the free, because of the brave. What a statement that is.


This morning at 9 am I was asked to speak at a memorial day ceremony and there were several verses the Lord laid on my heart but John 15:13 is the one that i shared.

John 15:13 KJV
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

I thank God for the men and women who have given their life for our country.

Many who left their homes, wives or husbands, and children who never came back.

They said their last goodbye never to return. Some told family members, "I love you."

There was One who laid His life down so we could have eternal life and his name is Jesus Christ.

He willingly laid his life down, no man could take it from him. (John 10:18)

On this memorial day may we remember not only the sacrifices that were made so we could live in a free country, but the Sacrifice of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who gave his life so we could be saved and go to Heaven.

If you see a veteran tell them thank you. When you pray, pray for our soldiers but also take time to thank Jesus for coming to this earth to die for us.
